Leicester Space Centre (Y5)
Year 5 visit to Leicester Space Centre
At the Space Centre, we spent the morning in a planetarium learning about planets and their moons. We watched the sky change from day to night and even looked at some famous constellations of stars. After lunch, we went to the top of the rocket and learnt all about the history of space travel. There were lots of fun activities for us to do: there were phones for us to play with, parts of the moon for us to explore and we saw a timeline which included the first moon landing in 1969!
