PE Funding
The school received £19,540 (£16,000, plus £10 for each eligible child) in 2024/2025 to ensure that children are able to access a wide range of sports activities with sustainable benefits.
The received funding is then topped up with additional funds from the school budget. The spend is allocated each year following annual reviews of the provision to impact on children's attitude to sports. The academy has chosen to purchase PE clothing for every child to ensure that they are all able to participate and enjoy the wide range of sporting activities. The impact is seen in the large take-up of extra curricular activities that are provided in addition to the statutory provision.
