Year 1ND visit Westport Lake
Our Year 1 children had a wonderful adventure to Westport Lake as part of our learning about The Bog Baby! We explored the setting of the story, discovering the small lake and the big lake, enjoying a lovely walk and venturing through the forest. Along the way, the children became Bog Baby detectives, searching carefully for the hidden Bog Babies tucked away around the area. We enjoyed a well-deserved lunch together before finishing our exciting day with some fun and playtime at the park. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring our story to life, explore nature, and use our imaginations to discover the magical world of the Bog Baby!
