Deep Hayes Country Park (Y6)
While at Deep Hayes Country Park, we started the day by gathering lots of different sticks to help us light a fire.
Mr Davies showed us the steps to create our own fire and we had a competition to see which team could light the best fire. My team won! During the afternoon, we went on a nature walk and collected some water from the reservoir, which we then purified to make our own river chocolate. This visit help us to understand what it might be like for Michael when he first gets stranded on the island in Kensuke's Kingdom.
