Norbury Junction (Y2)
Year 2 had a lovely day cruising along the Shropshire Canal aboard the ‘Shropshire Star’ barge.
The children had a scavenger hunt to see what we could see as we travelled along. We saw lots of beautifully decorated narrowboats and lots of wildlife. We drew images of what we could see out of the barge window. Afterwards we had a picnic lunch in the sun before returning to school.
