Ford Green Hall (Y2ND)
Year 2 had a brilliant time when we visited Ford Green Hall.
We met Samuel Pepys who told us the story of what happened during the Great Fire of London and how he wrote it all in his diary. We found out how the fire started, why it spread so quickly and how people tried to save their belongings and tried to put the fire out. We also learned about how in the 1600s people had to grow and make their own food and they didn't have electricity in their homes! We loved finding out about all of the different objects and asked lots of questions.
