Florence Nightingale at the Brampton Museum (Y1AF)
Wow! What a fantastic trip we have had!
We were met with Florence Nightingale. Florence showed us tools from her time as a nurse, gave us tales about her life, and even took us to the Scutari hospital so we could see firsthand the amazing difference she made in the lives of so many people. We even got to practice how to use bandages. We really took advantage of the opportunity to use our imaginations as we had plenty of time to ask as many questions as we wanted! For all of us, meeting Florence will undoubtedly be a day to remember.
