Cadbury World (Y3KR)
What a scrumptious day!!
We visited Cadbury World to bring to life the magical world of chocolate, like what we've been exploring in Roald Dahl’s "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." The trip gave us a fascinating insight into how chocolate is made, from cocoa bean to finished product, linking closely to the imaginative processes described in the story. We learned about the history of chocolate and the Cadbury company, watched live demonstrations of chocolate-making, and explored real-life machinery that reminded us of Willy Wonka’s fantastical inventions. Seeing how fiction can be inspired by reality made our Love of Reading text feel even more engaging! Our favourite parts of the day were the 4D cinema experience and the amazing ride! We even had time for a play on the park at the end of the day.
