Saxon and Viking Workshop (Y5)
On Thursday afternoon, year 5 were visited by a Saxon!
We consolidated our learning and remembered everything we had learnt in autumn 1! We were told some scary sagas such as Beowulf and saw this acted out.. we then acted out our own sagas and a lot of us got into the monster role a little too well! We were then visited by a Viking and learnt they used to fill gaps and holes in their homes with cow poo to ensure they remain warm! We had a fabulous afternoon!
