New Brighton Beach (Y1ND)
On Monday, 1ND spent the day exploring the beach setting at New Brighton Beach.
We talked about the textures of the sand when it was wet and dry and went on a shell hunt. We worked together as a team to make the best sandcastles and decorated them with shells creating patterns. The children loved seeing the lighthouse and referred back to the Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch story. We had the best day in the sunshine.
